Hope is Education began as a project team in 2008 with the belief that “the quality of education cannot exceed the quality of its teachers.” For more than a decade, we have supported teachers and students to strengthen educational opportunities.
Today, Hope is Education has grown into a professional international development NGO, working with 46 primary schools, 541 teachers, and 28,642 students in Uganda.
In the primary schools where we have implemented projects in Kenya and Uganda, school communities are already taking initiative to improve and sustain their own learning environments.
